HOW

 

 

Just simply with my family, my wife and my two children: my five-year-old daughter and my five-month-old son (at the time) in a typical and very practical American motorhome.

 

 

 

WHERE

 

We started with California and the famous «Highway One», then we went to this beautiful region where you can admire the giant redwoods.

 

 

GOLD

 

Still in California, we immersed ourselves in the ​​gold digger area, along the American River: a landscape worthy of «The Little House On The Prairy», including the farrier’s house.

LOLO MAI SPRING

 

This is a song from the album, written in the the Navajo Indian territory  in Arizona, as a tribute to them and to the red desert bordering on a sacred lake.

TUBA CITY

 

We continued to venture deeper into the lands of Utah, Nevada, ending up in Tuba City - a city with a single street: the main street lined with stalls as in a western movie.

BUFFALO

 

The American bison is a mythical animal. There were millions. They were decimated by US Army soldiers. The spirit of the buffalo is the spirit of freedom and the idea of ​​the search for a better world.

​

TRIBUS

 

We attended an annual meeting between Indian tribes. They are people who are very proud of their culture. It’s not at all something anecdotal or touristy. Native American Indians have, like the bison, also lived through genocide, but their culture is very much alive.
