WHAT

TO DO?

You will probably land at Malaga airport.

In that case I would recommend you to take one day and night to discover the city. Malaga is rather a big city, agreable and clean with a nice weather all the winter long.

If you follow my advice please stay at the Miramar Grand Hotel which has been recently refurbished and which is full of marble: balconies, stairs, floors bathrooms…

And you will be nicely welcomed !

Take a room with sea view. Other rooms on the Atrium are ok and nice but it is frustrating not to enjoy the magnificent seaview. Anyhow the terrasse on the last floor will give you the opportunity to take nice pictures and to enjoy the view from the roof top.

There is a Center rather close from the hotel but the main center with its pedestrian area (all of marble) is rather far for peorple who don’t like so much walking. Taxis are ok...

That area is fine but nothing extraordinary

Leaving Malaga for Gibraltar you will take the sea road and enjoy nice views from time to time. You might stop at Marbella which i never liked so much or go shopping at Porto Banyuls (a bit tacky but most of the luxury brands are there)

Arriving at Gibraltar you will cross borders before entering in the British Empire.

The Rock is impressive and big .. No wonder the Brits wont leave it.

I recommend the Rock Hotel: nice rooms and beautifully located.

Carefull no checking in before 3 pm and out before 11 am!

The restaurant is nice, good and well posted. ASk a table at the Terrace.

Have diner there with the sunset!  Boats in the light are beautifull….

Before diner go in the city. Nothing special ; some bars and restaurants..

They dont look too clean but you may take the

risk of a bloody Mary

(difficult to make it wrong)

Tomorrow you will dicover the rock with me.
